The pics of visiting ShiKang on 19th May 2007

On 19th of May, 2007, the representatives of Community Service Group and the students the group sponsored in Vacational College, accompanied by the volunteers from BVA, visited Sha Qin Elementary School in Shi Kang, a town about half hour drive from Lian Zhou, the center of Hepu Countiy.

We brought some gifts and beverages donated by Shangri-La hotel to the school, met the 11 students CSG sponsored in Shi Kang and the headmaster of ShaQin elementary school and Ms. Sun, who works for women association and helped us a lot and for a long time.

We learnt some basic information of the school, as how many teachers and students they have, what is the school in need of mostly at present, how about the average income of the villagers around, etc.

After the meeting, we visited houses of four students who are waiting for help on the way back. The headmaster gave us a list of seven students waiting for help. We will visit the rest 3 next time.
